Formula to convert fractions to percentage.
- You first divide the numerator of the fractions by its denominator.
- Then multiply the result by 100.
Example:
Convert 2/5 to a percentage.
We will begin by dividing the numerator by the denominator.
= 2 รท 5
= 0.4
And lastly, we multiply the result by 100.
= 0.4 x 100
= 40%
